Refund Policy
How refunds work for SceneSort Pro — and why the free trial matters.
How refunds work for SceneSort Pro — and why the free trial matters.
This Refund Policy applies to purchases of the SceneSort Pro “Pro Edition” license. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Orders are sold and processed by our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd and its group companies). Your purchase is therefore also governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Paddle’s Refund Policy. Where this policy is more generous to you than Paddle’s, this policy applies; nothing here limits your non-excludable statutory rights.
Please contact us before requesting a chargeback. If something isn’t working, email support first — most issues are resolved quickly, and a chargeback is rarely necessary.
SceneSort Pro offers a free trial that lets you process up to 500 files with no time limit and no payment details required. The trial is the full application, so you can confirm that it installs, runs, and works correctly on your own computer and library before you purchase. We strongly encourage every customer to use the free trial first.
The Pro Edition is a one-time purchase, not a subscription — there is nothing to cancel and you will never be charged again.
Refunds are available only for technical faults that prevent the Software from functioning as advertised, where we are unable to resolve the issue for you within a reasonable time after you contact support.
Examples of a qualifying technical fault include: the licensed application failing to install or launch on a supported version of Windows, or a defect that prevents a core advertised function from operating, which we cannot fix or work around.
To be eligible, you must contact support and give us a reasonable opportunity to diagnose and resolve the problem, and your request must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Because the free trial lets you fully evaluate the Software before buying, refunds are not available in situations including:
This policy does not affect any mandatory statutory rights you may have under the consumer law of your country, which cannot be excluded.
Consumers in the EU, EEA and UK. You have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days for any reason. However, because the Pro Edition is digital content supplied immediately, this right is lost once you begin downloading, activating or otherwise using the licensed Pro features after expressly agreeing at checkout that supply will begin straight away and acknowledging that the withdrawal right is lost — this consent is collected by Paddle during checkout. If you have not yet started using the Pro features, you may withdraw within 14 days for a full refund. These rights are in addition to the refund rights described above.

We will work with you to resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve a qualifying technical fault within a reasonable time, we will arrange a refund of your purchase.
You can also request a refund or withdrawal directly from Paddle via the buyer portal linked in your Paddle order-confirmation email, or by emailing [email protected].
Please contact support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Chargebacks are costly and slow to resolve, and almost every issue can be handled faster by email. Opening a chargeback without first contacting us may result in your license being deactivated.
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle to your original payment method. The time for the funds to appear depends on your bank or card issuer. Once a refund is issued, the associated Pro license is deactivated and reverts to the Free Edition.
For any refund question, email [email protected] or visit our Contact page. For payment-specific queries you may also contact Paddle, the Merchant of Record for your order.
